Calle Olsson grew up with boating and the sea in Marstrand, Sweden, and has spent his entire career in the marine industry. He led Nordic Marine for many years before taking on key roles at Frydenbø Marine following the acquisition of Fische Marine in 2012. In recent years, he has served as Country Manager at Mercury Marine for Norway, Sweden and Denmark. Olsson holds a degree in economics from the University of Borås and is based in Gothenburg.

Calle will succeed Trond Underhaug, who has led Frydenbø Marine in recent years. Underhaug is now CEO of Fjord Defence Marine, following Fjord Defence Group’s acquisition of Frydenbø Milpro earlier this year.

Trond has done an outstanding job leading and developing Frydenbø Marine in recent years, while also building Frydenbø Milpro into a strong and relevant player. As he now continues to lead Milpro as Fjord Defence Marine, we are very pleased to welcome Calle as our new CEO. He knows both the products and the company well and is the right person to lead Frydenbø Marine into its next phase, where we will realise significant international potential, says Åsmund Bjørndal Heen, CEO of Frydenbø Group and Frydenbø International, and Chair of Frydenbø Marine.
